One of my most treasured possessions is the afghan my grandmother crocheted and cross-stitched for me as a high school graduation gift. When she passed away before finishing my brother’s afghan, something inside me shifted. Determined to carry on her legacy, I picked up her hook and yarn to finish the project she couldn’t.
