Meet the Grannies

Mel got into crocheting from an early age watching her grandma make blanket after blanket. A family tradition was for her grandma to make each grandchild an afghan blanket for their high school graduation gift. When her grandma passed away in the beginning stages of making her brother's graduation afghan, Mel picked up the hook and completed the blanket. She hasn't looked back since!

Carina developed a love for creating things with her grandma, by learning how to knit at a young age. Her love only grew and she expanded her skills by trying her hand at crocheting and fell in love with it. She has now been crocheting for years and still adores it. She also experimented with sewing when she was young and is looking forward to diving back in again!
